I have been teaching contract law and tort law at the Open University since 2018 as an Associate Lecturer. I have experience teaching commercial law, marine insurance law, and civil litigation at other institutions.
During my time at the Open University, I obtained Associate Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy.
Studying for a law degree is demanding and requires an ability to undertake wider reading/research. I enjoy guiding my students through discussions and debates; there is nothing quite like the ‘penny drop’ moments.
As well as teaching, I am a solicitor at an international commercial firm based in London. My primary specialism is within insurance law; both contentious coverage disputes and non-contentious aspects of insurance & reinsurance.
I enjoy insurance law so much that I decided to undertake an LLM in Insurance Law.
I am also involved in cyber incident response, privacy/data protection, and professional/financial risks litigation.
