I have been an Associate Lecturer at the Open University since 2020. I deliver on W111, W212 and W203. I have always wanted to work for the OU as I believe passionately in the values of the OU and the importance of placing the learner at the centre of everything that we do.
I have been teaching law (A level and Degree) for the past 24 years. I specialise in criminal and human rights law. I am passionate about teaching such a dynamic and fascinating subject.
I love teaching at the OU, and I strive to inspire my learners to be the best that they can be; to watch them develop and grow in confidence is fantastic!
I also tutor SiSE learners (students in secure environments), and this is another rewarding aspect of the job for me, to see people being given a chance to access education that would otherwise be denied to them.
