I currently teach on W111: Criminal Law and the Courts and W112: Civil Justice & Tort Law. I have previously taught on a number of other introductory law modules, as well as W821: Exploring the Boundaries of International Law on the LL.M.
My research background is in public international law, having studied both law and international conflict analysis. I have taught subjects in these areas at the University of Southampton (UK) and Varna Economics University (Bulgaria). However, my primary occupation now is the training of academic skills.
I spent 5 years living and working in Central and South-East Europe in the not-for-profit sector, focussing on developing University teaching practice in the post-socialist space.
Since relocating to the UK, I have run my own company, delivering skills training to researchers at all levels and at institutions across the UK and in the wider Europe. Part of this work has now expanded to include training for school governors in a range of school settings.
