I have been an Associate Lecturer with The Open University since 2014 and still enjoy meeting new students every year and introducing them to different legal topics and concepts.
For the academic year starting in September 2023, I will be teaching on W212, contract law, having previously taught on modules relating to criminal law and an introduction to the English legal system.
Aside from being an Associate Lecturer, I also practise law as an in-house legal counsel for a pharmaceutical company. Joining academic law with law in practise gives me the chance to see both sides of the subject which I find endlessly fascinating, and led to me studying for a PhD in Law after I qualified as a Solicitor.
Outside working, I enjoy running, ballet and cultivating an allotment with my husband in South Lincolnshire.
