The OU ethos is about helping people to ensure they succeed. I found my OU degree a very positive experience and it gave me a huge sense of achievement.

I am studying for my own benefit, I want to prove that I am not thick, and that I can apply myself to education and studies.

The OU helped me discover my true potential.

Thanks to the OU’s one-to-ones and disability services, I barely felt the impact of my OCD. The materials, support, qualitative teaching, virtual learning environment platform and one-to-one support system are all state of the art.

I wanted to qualify as a lawyer for many years to 'give something back'. The Open University has given me the opportunity to study the LLB combined with growing a successful business.

Armed with my Open University degree, I have a desire to help others – to help the disadvantaged and the disenfranchised in life, as I once was.

The LLM in International Law has increased my confidence and given me new tools for supporting NGOs in the region, especially in marine conservation
