Student Hub Live: Freshers for student carers

This is a special Freshers event for student carers.

Carers can find it challenging to identify themselves or to know where to turn to for support. Furthermore, carers who move on to further education often say balancing their caring role and studying can be difficult. They may not feel supported and their own wellbeing can fall down their priority list.

It is vital carers recognise their caring role and find support that suits them. Staying well is as important for them as it is for the person they care for.

In this Student Hub Live session you will discover what support, as an unpaid carer, might be available in your local area, and from The Open University. There will also be tips and advice on how to maintain and boost your wellbeing.
