Frances Lyons

I teach contract and tort law, civil justice and tort law, and will be teaching public law next year.

I am a qualified lawyer who has worked in the Public Sector department of a City law firm, for a Central Government Department and in Industry, mostly in contracts and energy work.

I enjoyed working with trainees and supervising younger lawyers, so this led me to teaching.

The main draw for me is the students. I am genuinely inspired by all the juggling that OU students manage to do. There is a high degree of commitment and passion amongst people who have decided to return to study. I love my job!
