Project for Interdisciplinary Law and Religion Studies

Candle

The Project for Interdisciplinary Law and Religion Studies (PILARS) is run by a team of Open University (OU) and international academics researching in the field of Law and Religion. We are particularly interested in interdisciplinary study – the synthesis of law and philosophy, theology, politics and history. The project aims to act as a resources hub and publishing outlet for those interested in the case comment writing format. The aim is to provide well crafted academic analysis of recent law and religion judgments.

For those researching and writing in the field of interdisciplinary law and religion studies, there is some skills material, useful links and resources in our skills corner. This is where we provide an outline of how to write a case comment and some resources to help get you started if you are new to this area. The resources include a more detailed record of law and religion cases published in various places.
