Kate is the Pro Bono Manager within the Open University Law School. Her role involves coordinating the work of the Open Justice Centre, which has the purpose of providing free legal advice and guidance to people and groups who may struggle to access appropriate legal support through other means. Kate works alongside colleagues within the Open Justice team to support the development and operation of the Law Clinic and public legal education activities.
She joined the Open University in October 2012 and prior to joining the Law School most recently worked as a Project Manager within the Learning and Teaching Innovation portfolio.
Kate was educated at Jesus College, Oxford University, studying for a BA in Jurisprudence and the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL).
