Research interests explored in new series of podcasts

Research at OU Law School

A new podcast series, led by Research Fellow in Law Dr Marjan Ajevski, is providing a taste of the Law School’s fascinating research.

Marjan speaks to colleagues and other academics to showcase their research interests, with Dr Emma Jones (‘emotion and the law’), Dr Stephanie Pywell (‘a butterfly mind’) and Hugh McFaul from the Open Justice Centre all featuring so far.

There is also a discussion on lawyer and historian Dr Simon Lavis’ passion for studying Nazi law, and the implications of that time period for the current challenges faced by liberal democracies.

Dr Lucas Lixinski, an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, chats about his interest in the international protection of cultural heritage and its unintended consequences such as how this often affects the minority communities that produced the heritage.
