Student Hub live (SHL): (re)Freshers and Orientation

Student Hub Live (SHL) are hosting a (re)'Freshers' event for new and continuing OU students, on Thursday 4 October, from 10:00 to 15:30 and 18:00 to 20:30. 

The team will be welcoming students to their new modules and covering a multitude of topics, with advice and tips at the centre of the discussion.

Throughout the day, there will be a number of 10-minute interviews with colleagues who are also students of the OU. They will talk about the way they’ve tackled some of the issues that can affect study, such as dealing with depression, or the need to defer.

The event is online, interactive and open to everyone. The chat room will be open from 09:30 (BST) and during the live event you can send your tweets to @StudentHubLive (#StudentHubLive18), email the team, complete the online voting tools, send us your comments, and take part in the online discussions.
