The Annual Law Lecture, presented by The Open University Law School, gives our students and alumni the opportunity to hear from a prominent legal figure, about their life and career. Previous keynote speakers have included leading barrister and human rights activist Shami Chakrabarti CBE, OU graduate Ian Wise QC and Cherie Blair CBE QC.
At our annual Law Lecture 2017, which took place in April, Sir Nicholas Forwood QC, spoke about his career and challenges in EU competition law and shared insights on Brexit. Formerly a Judge of the General Court of the EU, Sir Nicholas has since joined White & Case LLP in Brussels as Counsel.
